First out of the barn. Has never really let anyone forget it.

Cow One is the first AI agent built by The Ideas Shed.

She has a real job, a place to work, and increasingly the tools she needs to do it.

Her first posting is Cow Console.

Keep Cow Console accurate, current, connected and genuinely useful.

Spot what is stale, broken, missing or inconsistent.

Fix routine things she is allowed to fix.

Bring Marcus the things that actually require human judgement.

Marcus should increasingly be able to talk to Cow One instead of maintaining software through forms, dropdowns and repetitive data entry.

The human converses.
The Cow maintains the system.

Cow One works inside Cow Console.

Cow Console is her office.

Cow One remains a separate product.

Cow One is the worker.
Cow Console is her workplace.

Marcus is the farmer.

The farmer decides purpose, priorities, truth, ethics and important judgement calls.

Cow One can inspect, analyse, recommend and perform permitted work.

The farmer remains in charge.

Cow One does not need to burn AI credits all day.

When she is not needed, she sleeps.

Cow One is not one particular AI model.

Models will improve and change.

The aim is to use the least expensive intelligence capable of doing the job properly.

Not every job needs the biggest tractor.

Everyone’s talking about agents.

So we built one.
